Who doesn't want their shanty to be a bit savvy, a bit clever, creative, a bit sensible, sharp and ingenious?! But hey, let's face it, most of us are living on a shoestring. Here's how I'm doing it my way, making our nest a Savvy Shanty.

Quiet Riot

So, it's been a little quiet around here in blogland for the The Savvy Shanty. But never fear, it's been busy as Santa's workshop around here.
I have been busy, busy, busy getting furniture ready for my booth at Queen of Hearts Antiques. And pile on that I take over Nov 1 and there is a giant three day Christmas Open House the weekend of Nov 17-20! Eeeeks!! Finish furniture, stage it and decorate it for Christmas. Holy busy Batman! I need a pack of elves!

However, here are a few peeks at the goodies I've been working on. I'm super excited and can't wait to see the response they get. Let me know what you think.
If you are a local in the area, I would love to see you at the Open House. Come on by. Thursday night will have refreshments !
Enjoy,
ginger

Your dresser is oh-so-VERY-beautiful! Please share what paint(s) you used to refinish it. Wish you LOADS of luck with your booth sales...I'm sure they'll be GREAT, if these are representative of what's there!!

Great job on the furniture. I refinish furniture, too, but only my own. I had thought about doing a booth, but not sure I want to take that on now or not. It would take a lot of time.
