So the weather here in Georgia has finally dropped to slightly below
hell sweltering and by slightly I mean it is only 85 when we wake up in the morning verses 95! But hey, I'll take what I can get. And the slight dip in temp has got my knitting fingers just an itching! I can see it now, we will be sitting by the fire, pot of soup simmering on the stove and as my friend Jen and I call it, "strang" (read in your most southern accent) all nestled around our feet!
Last year I learned how to knit socks, which is kinda addictive because the "strang" is so dang pretty! Lots and lots of yummy colors. The tricky part is you knit them on basically 4 toothpicks. And they don't go quick but they sure are snugly and worth the work. Above was my first sock I finished. The other pics are a couple of neck goodies I made.
Well until the leaves change and it's time to put the flip flops away, I'll be at the pool thinking about my next "strang" project!
