This little goody was a rescued curb side treasure. What to do, bust out the three remaining windows? Keep 'em. It sat in my pile of projects for the past 6 months or so. Then I had this idea to add clips to hang pictures. Or a youngin's art work. Or birthday cards. Really just about anything. And truly, isn't every day a gift from God!
Hope you enjoy. You can find this and other great goodies at the Spring Fling at Queen of Hearts this weekend.
Who doesn't want their shanty to be a bit savvy, a bit clever, creative, a bit sensible, sharp and ingenious?! But hey, let's face it, most of us are living on a shoestring. Here's how I'm doing it my way, making our nest a Savvy Shanty.

Flowers on The Wall
So here's a chair I picked up at an auction. Actually the same one as The Grundy County Auction Incident. Made a mistake and got caught up in the scrolliness of the chair and didn't realize there were some major structural flaws (two joints were being held together with about and inch thick and deep putty. So alas she could not be reupholstered unless only a fly was gonna perch her pretty little behind on it. Time to fall back and punt. Here's what I came up with. And a quick little plug here: Queen of Hearts is having a huge spring event this Thursday-Sunday! Come on out and see me! I'll be packed with lots of new spring goodies including this chair!
